Winifred Lin Soufi
M.D., Ph.D, FACOG
Dr. Winifred Soufi joined Women’s Health Associates in 1996. She is board certified and practices obstetrics and gynecology. She is on the staff of Northside Hospital and serves as Medical Director of UWH Georgia (Unified Women’s Care of Georgia).
Dr. Soufi has been awarded as one of the top physicians in Georgia in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology as Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctor for 2016-2023, Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine for 2017 & 2022, as Atlanta’s Top Docs and a GA Top Doc recipient for 2020, and America’s Most Honored Doctors Award for 2022, 2023.
Dr Soufi received her MD, Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, proceeded to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Duke University in 1996, and since then, has been in practice at Women’s Health Associates, delivering babies at Northside Hospital She has served as President of Unified Women’s Care of Georgia Management Board from 2012 – 10/2018 and served as Medical Director of Unified Women’s Care of GA from 10/2018 to 9/2022. She served on the board for the Georgia Ob/GYN Society as part of their legislative committee since 2010 and has been serving as co-chair since 2/2023. In addition, she has served on the Organized Medical Staff Section for the Medical Association of Georgia since 2020
Dr Soufi is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership Campus and in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia She has enjoyed mentoring medical students and was awarded the Faculty Member of the Year 2019 in OB/GYN for the Augusta University-University of Georgia Medical Partnership campus of the Medical College of Georgia; and the AU/UGA Medical Partnership Community Faculty Preceptor of AY 2022-2023
Dr Soufi strives to provide quality patient care for her patients using the most advanced medical technology along with personal support and comfort.
She and her husband have two children, a daughter, and a son.
