Phoebe Sun, M.D., FACOG

Since 2002, Dr. Phoebe Mou Sun has been a dedicated member of Women’s Health Associates Group, bringing expertise, compassion, and a personalized approach to her patients. As a board-certified OB-GYN on staff at Northside Hospital, Dr. Sun specializes in high-risk obstetrics, recurrent pregnancy loss, and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, and laparoscopic treatment of ovarian conditions. Her goal is always to provide the highest quality care while minimizing recovery time and improving outcomes for her patients.

Dr. Sun’s academic journey began at Emory University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She also went on to receive her medical degree from Emory and completed her internship and residency there. An active contributor to the medical community, Dr. Sun is a member of various professional organizations and has published research in respected journals, including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a proud Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was honored as one of Atlanta’s Top Docs in 2020, a testament to her dedication to women’s health.

Dr. Sun was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, and she is proficient in Mandarin Chinese. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, swimming, and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons with her husband and their two sons.
