Dr.Rama-RaoDr. Rao offers her patients the latest minimally invasive techniques treating a wide range of gynecologic issues, including treatment for; uterine fibroids, large ovarian masses, pelvic pain from endometriosis, adhesions from prior abdominal surgeries, urinary incontinence, painful bladder syndrome, pelvic organ prolapse, uterine bleeding, cervical dysplasia, vulvar dysplasia, and also provides routine office gynecologic care.

She incorporates the latest surgical advances, such as DaVinci Robotic Surgery, laparoscopic surgery, Bladder Slings for stress incontinence, lnterstim nuero-modulation for urinary incontinence and open procedures where indicated.

Dr. Rao received her Bach lor of Science from Loyola University, in New Orleans. She received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2000. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center (part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) and Cooper Hospital University Medical Center, both in New Jersey in 2004. After practicing for several years she completed a fellowship in Radical Pelvic Surgery & Advanced Robotic Surgery from 2012 to 2014 at St. Joseph's Emory and Northside Hospital. During her fellowship she also helped launch the gynecologic program at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, Georgia where she provided gynecologic care to a wide variety of patients between 2012 and 2016.

In her spare time, Dr Rao enjoys spending time with her 2 children and her husband.
