Karen Creed, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Karen Creed has been a member of Women’s Health Associates Group since 2011, bringing her expertise, dedication, and compassionate approach to the care of women throughout Atlanta. She specializes in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, and laparoscopic treatment of ovarian conditions. Dr. Creed is passionate about helping women navigate both routine and complex health concerns with personalized, patient-centered care.

Dr. Creed earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from North Carolina Central University before pursuing her medical degree at East Carolina University. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, and as a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she remains actively involved in advancing the field. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Creed has contributed to research on fibroid tumors at the National Institutes of Health. Her dedication to excellence has been recognized with honors, such as Atlanta’s Top Docs award in 2020.

Beyond her practice, Dr. Creed is deeply involved in community outreach. She has served as a provider and clinic leader at free clinics, tutored and mentored at-risk youth, and provided medical aid in rural areas affected by natural disasters. Her passion for service shines through in every aspect of her work.

Dr. Creed was born and raised in Dallas, North Carolina, and is proficient in Spanish. Outside of medicine, she enjoys painting, drawing, cooking, dining out, traveling, and spending time with animals.
